Woods Canyon
South of Sedona, this is nice trail. Walked up about 3 miles. It was a hazy day. 5.7 miles from I17 on 179. Or 1.4 miles from Jacks Canyon road driving south on 179. The trail starts in the south east corner of the parking lot.
This is the trailhead, looking east towards the trail.
Facing west, about a mile away from the trailhead.
Rattlesnake canyon is to the right.
There were 3 gates on the trail. One section blocked off an avian preserve. This is a game/livestock deterrent.
Looking east towards Rattlesnake canyon (to the rightish) and Hot Loop trail (to the left).
To the left is the trailhead, the center of the image is where Sedona lies.

This is where the trail veers northward towards hot loop/horse mesa.
